I wish this series had been around when I was a kid! So far, I have purchased Jim Henson, Dr. Seuss, George Lucas, The Beatles and Walt Disney for my son. These books are a great way for me to introduce the people who have always inspired me, to my own children. I believe that reading about different creative talents throughout history is not only a great way for kids to learn but also a great way to inspire them. We always have great conversations when we discuss the people from these books because we teach each other new things.
Love these books. They help kids learn in a fun and interesting way.

Some great information about Jim Henson and what he was about.
My 10 year old considers him as an icon. He enjoys reading about his life and the creativity. Has even done projects about him at 8yrs old. Nice to have him as an inspiration that still people enjoy.
easy to read. My 3rd grader used this for a report. I found it interesting too. I look forward to reading additional books from this collection.
Loved reading about his life and the way the Muppets evolved. My grandson and I both enjoyed learning about his life!
