I have used this book over and over again for small things (colds, coughs etc) for my child. I have even used it for me. I first used it for me when I was breast feeding and was facing mastitis problems - saved me from taking antibiotics.

I'm glad I got this from the library before buying it. This has very little self-help in it. There are other books with more complete and more easily searched self-help sections.This book might be good if you need to be convinced about the usefulness and benefits of homeopathy for your family, but I'm past that point and got very annoyed at being cautioned on about every other page that I need to work with a trained homeopath and could not possibly do or comprehend more than simple acute care by myself. It was written on behalf of the American Institute of Homeopathy so maybe that explains something. He also cautions ominously against polypharmacy, but never gave any reason or proof why this should be so bad.

Nice book, all songs picture all chords used for each song. Some songs have ridulous amount of chords for being an "easy" book. It is also difficult ( impossible) as beginning musicians to sing the second and third verses to a song when they are listed at the bottom of the page and not under the music score and chords themselves.

I love the songs and the pick and strum pattern suggestions always seem to fit the songs very well.

I've played guitar for a long time now but can only play by ear, don't know how to read music. This book is good for people like me as it has the music and also puts the chord names with the music where you need to do the changes. The finger positions for the chords are on the top of the page so you don't have to look them up, and it has the strum and pick patterns to use when playing the song as well.I love the old hymns and this book has a lot of my favorite hymns in the 128 songs it contains, more so than any other gospel song book I've purchased in the past (you can Google HL00702157 to find pages that list what songs are in it, or maybe this link still works [...]. Overall I am very happy with the content of the book.The only thing I wish this book really had, and I almost gave it a 4 because of it, is that it should be spiral bound. They did do some clever binding so that it stays open easily enough to the page you turn to, but it still requires having room for two pages instead of just one (challenging to use it when sitting in the easy chair). There is also the question of how long this binding will hold out with a lot of use.

About a hundred songs or so. Most of your favorites that have been simplified for beginners. Gives tabs with strum, chords with strum or you can play the notes. I think anyone up to intermediate will be happy with this.

As a beginning guitarist (at age 58), I need all the help I can get. Gospel music was part of my youth, and the songs in this collection take me back to when "Turn Your Radio On" was high-tech (and we're talking AM radio at that)!This anthology has old hymns and some not-so-old favorites arranged for the beginner, but easy enough to improve on for the intermediate or advanced player. The melodies are clear and easy to follow. More importantly, they are fun to play! Either alone or with a group, this is a welcome addition to anybody's collection and repetoire.This is a solid collection, fairly priced, and well worth giving a try. Buy with confidence.

I just started playing the guitar in January. I wanted to be able to play in church one day. This book has the chords in the song at the top of the page and how to play them. It has many songs - popular and old favorites. I can play through one or two and hope as I learn more chords to be able to play more. Would highly recommend it to others.

This book might as well been a pamphlet. It focuses on larger multifamily units, but it literally doesn't even talk about the technical details until at least 3/4 the way through the book. It spends most of the book talking about how great real estate investing is, or about the deals the author has made. Just beyond useless. Even the technical stuff it does mention is very surface level, which is especially frustrating because the book talks about a very advanced topic in real estate investing (purchasing larger apartment complexes)I'm interested in learning more about buying property for flipping and holding, but this book mentions none of that. I would have at least been somewhat interested if it talked about smaller multifamily homes like duplexes and triplexes, but the technical aspect covers only apply to larger complexes. I bought this book because of a recommendation on a Bigger Pockets podcast, but I'm severely disappointed.Beyond that, the biggest problems with this book are that it is poorly written (plenty of typos) and, despite being the second edition published in 2013, it HASN'T BEEN UPDATED. I know this because it mentions nothing of the financial crash starting in 2008/2009, and only cites statistics from before 2008.If you are interested in real estate investing and are operating on a smaller scale (or on a larger scale but need a book of substance) then keep moving. This book is terrible.

The book was generally a good read. I guess to avoid douboe writing the writer encouraged for readings from his previously authored books as well as those of other authors. I was very disappointed by the number of errors in the book. This isn't what I expected from the Rich Dad team. The price should be discounted on this book

Not as much detail as his first book, but a great reference and enjoyed both. Wish there were more examples for how to start a little smaller than million dollar investments, but this is the “advanced” guide. Like the detail for 1031 exchanges, but still didn’t fully understand the specifics about benefits of refinancing

If you had read enough about theories and just want to get your hands on sound principles, this book may be for you. I was able to follow simple steps to create numbers based on data and removed the emotion of property to make a more successful purchases based on data, not emotions.

Very helpful for investing in multi family properties. Good writing and storytelling from experience. Would like to have more examples however and info on other types of investing like single family homes.

Good read. Worth the time it takes to go over it at least a couple times.

this is a good real estate book that will educate you on many tax options and how to watch your money develop.

This book was a complete life change for me. My entire life I have always been moody, emotionally unstable, tossed to and fro by my thoughts, bubbling with enthusiasm one moment and then sulking in a stupor the next. My last relationship was destroyed by such a mindset. Although I had ideas of what had gone wrong, this book eloquently expounded on ideas that I had vague thoughts of, but was unable to put into words. The first time I was able to put the knowledge I learned from this book into practice was a emotionally explosive moment as I realized that I finally was able to control my thoughts and take a hold of my mind. Would highly recommend this book to any and all.

This is easily one of the best books that I have read. It isn't long, but it is packed with more information than you can wrap your head around. I have read it 4 times since I got it 3 months ago, and I am working on it again. I loved this book so much that when I was in the middle of the second chapter, I got back on Amazon and ordered another 2 copies of it. Then when I finished it I went to order 3 more but I couldn't because they were still sold out from the time that I ordered the other 2. So I had to wait for them to print more, then I did order 3 more, so I have 6 copies now and I don't regret it at all.It just feels like every paragraph is pure gold honestly, sometimes it took me 20 minutes to make it through one page because of the realizations that I was having, and I needed to take time to scribble my notes into the margins. There is nothing in this book that doesn't absolutely need to be there, so you can be sure that it is worth your time and you won't be reading any filler material whatsoever. This will change your perspective on life, and if you actually do the things that are here, you change yourself. I honestly saw a change in how happy I was by doing the things that James Allen said. This is basically scripture to me now.The only complaint that I have isn't about the book, it's more about me, because I wish that I was better at doing the things outlined in this book because I know that it would help me out a ton. So that is the next goal, make sure that I am doing the things here.

This is not a smooth, flowing read. It's full of words the average person doesn't use and speech patterns of a time now past. This may or may not be part of its charm and effect.It does however illustrate quite well the though patterns of the champions of our world and lay clear instructions for success in life. Quite simply you are what you think. It's not a book on getting rich or making friends or being happy. It's a book that reminds you of the basic principals of thought and how your thoughts effect every aspect of life. A short little reminder that your mind is your greatest asset or your biggest liability.

This is one the smallest books I've read in my life and yet most impactful and eye-opening book. This book put a lot of stress on an idea that Man is what he thinks he becomes and what he does and it's not the circumstances which make him but he makes the circumstance. If you are going through or ever been through a rough patch in your life you need to read this book. If you've ever been successful or are successful in your life you need to read this. If you are rich or ever have been rich, you need to read this book. If you are poor or was poor at one time in your life you need to read it. If you are depressed or have been depressed, you need to read this book and at-last if you are happy or were happy in your life you need to read this book. In short, no matter what the circumstance is you're going through, you need to read this book not once, not twice but at least a dozen times in your life!

I really love this book and it's teaching. I want to change my life in every area and it's up to me alone. It's teaching is very empowering. It's really up to me and when I change my mind I will change my life and it starts with my thinking. I bought 2 more books from my teenage nephews because the sooner they can learn to control their thinking and acquire what they really want out of life the better. I plan to read this book once a month for 6 month so the principles can sink in plus it's less than 80 pages.

This book packs more power than many of the best selling books in the crowded field combined. You will be better of reading this short book and following through on half of it than buying all of Robbins material and attending his seminars. Not that Tony Robbins and his colleagues does not have valuable lessons to teach, it's just that this book does such a great job in less than 50 pages that any other approach to self improvement seams a waste of time. Read it and then go do it.

This book is not for a beginning pianist even though the book says EZ. The notes are written only for the right hand, and the notes are big. That I guess is a good idea for anyone that needs it. But the chords letters are written above the notes, and there is no reference for how that chord is played. For instance, I am learning to play piano, but have only learned a few chords. I have no idea what the D7, Dm7, Fm, or Em chords are. There are several other chords I have never heard of. Most books give the fingering, so it's not a problem. Not the case with this book. I gave the book 2 stars for the song selection, but this book is of no use to me as a (sort of) beginner.

I absolutely love this book, the songs are in very singable and playable keys. The arrangements are pretty chordal but there are some very pretty ones in here as well. I actually have checked this book out from the library a few times, and have already sung many of these songs at church as solos before it was due back. Every time I checked it out I found a new favorite, so I finally decided just to buy it. The songs are at an intermediate level with chords added if you prefer to play the "cheater" way. My FAVORITE song in this book is "Surely the Presence" it has two lovely verses that somehow I've never seen before.

I really like this piano book. It's not for beginners, but probably too easy for advanced piano players. I'm starting over from when I was young.This songbook has beautiful religious/gospel songs in it. It's Easy Piano. the notes are nice and big, I like that. Yes, you have to flip pages, because with bigger notes they don't all go on one or two pages, but I have no problem with that. I can't play that fast anyway. Trying to work my way up. It has the left hand notes, or you can play using chords (which I don't know how to do, though that seems to be the new thing). I got this book because it has songs I like such as Amazing Grace, Peace in the Valley, In the Garden, How Great Thou Art, Blessed Assurance, many songs. There is one with a cute title I never heard of, you may have "God Said It, I Believe It, That Settles It". But there are other songs I've never heard, but there are so many songs in this book, I'm sure you will find what you like. I cannot remember if the songs are listed at the link to the book. Again, I wish all publishers would use Amazon's "free take a look" where we can go in and see the Table of Contents and an example of the music notes, then we can decide if we think we can play. I always order from Amazon - using "one-click". Quick and easy.

I want to be able to play and sing these old time favorites at the same time, and the Hal Leonard system makes it easy for me to not have to think too much. I have to practice a lot to get to my desired level of comfort, but I'm getting there, and it's so much fun doing it. I like passing precious time with a precious heart.

One of the best song books for me to use at church...at my level. Simple, but not too simple, with great arrangements. I can play them as a prelude or as a soloist because I have confidence that I can do them well, and people enjoy them.

Teaching myself to play the piano and I want to learn the songs my mother played. She also played classical music which I am learning as well. I don't get the feeling from the current "Praise and Worship" rock and roll that I get from the classics.

I'm a new pianist (a few months' study) and some of these are beyond me, but the easier ones are within reach. There are some very pretty arrangements, and I was glad to see some of the older songs there.My mother who has played by ear forever and decided for her 80th birthday to learn to read notes, liked it so much she ordered for herself.

FRIEDRICH NIETZSCHE is perhaps the greatest philosopher the world has known. He is also great in another dimension which many philosophers are simply unaware of: he is a born mystic.His philosophy is not only of the mind but is rooted deep in the heart, and some roots even reach to his very being. The only thing unfortunate about him is that he was born in the West; hence, he could never come across any mystery school. He contemplated deeply, but he was absolutely unaware about meditation. His thoughts sometimes have the depth of a meditator, sometimes the flight of a Gautam Buddha; but these things seem to have happened spontaneously to him.He knew nothing about the ways of enlightenment, about the path that reaches to one's own being. This created a tremendous turmoil in his being. His dreams go as high as the stars but his life remained very ordinary – it does not have the aura that meditation creates. He may not have experienced them; he certainly has not experienced them. He also thought of becoming a man again. That idea, of descending from your heights into the marketplace, descending from the stars to the earth, has never happened to anybody else.He has something of Gautam Buddha, perhaps unconsciously carried over from his past lives, and he has something of the Zorba. Both are incomplete. But he is the only proof that Buddha and Zorba can meet; that those who have reached to the highest peaks need not remain there.In fact, they should not remain there. They owe something to humanity; they owe something to the earth. They have been born amongst human beings; they have lived in the same darkness and in the same misery. And now that they have seen the light, it becomes obligatory that they should come back to wake up those who are fast asleep; to bring the good news – that darkness is not all, that unconsciousness is our choice.If we choose to be conscious, all unconsciousness and all darkness can disappear. It is our choice that we are living in the dark valleys. If we decide to live on the sunlit peaks, nobody can prevent us because that is also our potential.But the people who have reached to the sunlit peaks completely forget about the world they are coming from. Gautam Buddha never descended. Mahavira never descended. Even if they have made efforts for humanity to wake up, they have shouted from their sunlit peaks.Man is so deaf, so blind that it is almost impossible for him to understand people who are talking from higher stages of consciousness. He hears the noise but it does not bring any meaning to him.Nietzsche is unique in this sense. He could have remained an extraordinary, very superhuman philosopher, but he never forgets for a single moment the ordinary human being. It is his greatness. Although he has not touched the highest peaks, and he has not known the greatest mysteries, whatsoever he has known, he is longing to share with his fellow human beings. This is a great read by osho he speaks very well on one of the great mystics Zarathustra ,osho makes this book an easy & clear to read, I highly recommend it.

Awesome book

Osho never ceases to uplift and inspire the soul to ascend to a higher strata. I was having trouble dissecting Nietzsche's "Thus Spake Zarathustra" and this was a huge help in comprehending and thus appreciating the work. I love them both! I wish they were both still living...
